Meet Michael Simon
Since moving to Arizona, he has built deep roots in Chandler, raising his family and supporting their education in the city’s schools. His experience navigating the community, understanding the needs of local families, and helping others thrive has shaped his belief in smart, family- and business-friendly policies that strengthen neighborhoods, foster responsible economic growth, and create opportunities for all. Over the years, he has also developed strong connections across Chandler’s civic and community organizations, reinforcing his commitment to service, collaboration, and neighbors helping neighbors.
Service has always been at the heart of his life. He dedicates countless hours to supporting local nonprofits and representing veterans and their families. As a leader within the American Legion at both the local and state levels, he has helped expand outreach, strengthen community programs, and advocate for those who served our country.
Today, he serves as Vice Chairman—and a founding member—of the City of Chandler’s Military and Veterans Affairs Commission, where he works to ensure Chandler remains one of Arizona’s most veteran-supportive communities. His mission is clear: to give back to the community that gave his family a home and to help move Chandler forward through responsible leadership, strong neighborhoods, safe streets, thriving local businesses, and opportunity for every family.
